Effective: May 21, 2026
Drawdowns is published by SeeMaxWork, Inc., a corporation registered in Illinois, USA. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Drawdowns is built around a simple promise: your coffee data is yours. It lives on your device and — if you have iCloud enabled — in your personal iCloud account. It never goes to SeeMaxWork.
From the app itself, nothing goes to SeeMaxWork. Drawdowns does not collect, transmit to us, store on any server we operate, or share any personal information, usage data, or device identifiers. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporters, and no advertising trackers. The only exception is the optional feedback survey, described below — and only if you choose to open and submit it. (Syncing your data between your own devices via iCloud is covered in its own section below.)
Drawdowns saves your recipes (the ones you create plus a small set of seed examples) and your settings (bean weight, grinder baseline, pre-brew countdown, sound and haptic preferences) locally on your device, in the app's own storage. If iCloud is enabled, this data is also synced to your personal iCloud account so it's available on your other Apple-ID devices — see the "iCloud sync" section below. If you delete the app, the local copy goes with it; the iCloud copy is removed via iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Drawdowns.
If you export your recipes from Settings, or share a single recipe from the Recipes list, a file or image is created and handed to iOS. What happens to that file after that — where you save it, who you send it to — is up to you. SeeMaxWork has no involvement in that handoff.
The Scan Recipe feature reads a recipe card from a photo you take or pick from your library. The reading and extraction happen entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence — no image, OCR text, or model output is sent to any server, including ours.
The Settings screen links to an optional feedback survey hosted at drawdowns.seemaxwork.com. The survey opens in your browser, outside the app — the app sends nothing on its own. Nothing is collected unless you fill the survey in and submit it.
If you do submit it, your answers are emailed to SeeMaxWork at apps@seemaxwork.com, along with your IP address and browser user-agent (standard web-request metadata, used only for spam filtering) and the email address you optionally provide so we can reply. We do not use this information for any purpose other than reading and acting on your feedback. There is no analytics, tracking, or third-party processor involved — the survey posts only to our own server.
Drawdowns does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking libraries. It does not contact any server SeeMaxWork operates.
The App Store handles purchase and download. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that transaction, not ours.
Drawdowns is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age, because we do not collect data at all.
Drawdowns syncs between your own devices using Apple's iCloud — recipes via CloudKit, and your settings (bean weight, grinder baseline, pre-brew countdown, sound and haptic preferences) via iCloud Key-Value Store.
• Your recipes and settings are stored in your personal iCloud account, not on any server SeeMaxWork operates.
• SeeMaxWork has no access to and cannot read anything you sync. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern that storage.
• Sync only happens between your own devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
• You can disable iCloud sync for Drawdowns in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → Drawdowns.
If anything about how Drawdowns handles data changes, this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the effective date above will be revised. Continuing to use a future version implies acceptance of the updated policy.
